Calisen Expands Smart Energy Portfolio with Acquisition of Environmental Energies

Calisen has agreed to acquire Environmental Energies Limited (EEL), a leading installer and manager of renewable energy infrastructure – primarily solar and battery systems – for businesses and consumers. Calisen will merge EEL with its Plug Me In subsidiary, providing fully integrated and bespoke net zero energy infrastructure solutions as it continues to build out its smart home and commercial offering in line with its purpose to deliver smarter energy for all.  

 

Founded in 2011 and based in the Midlands, EEL provides a nationwide service and is a trusted provider of residential and commercial energy infrastructure services, including solar power and battery storage capabilities. Like Calisen, EEL has extensive knowledge and experience in net zero energy infrastructure solutions and carbon reduction products, priding themselves on exceptional service to help businesses and consumers transition to net zero and become more environmentally responsible.  

 

By bringing EEL into the group, Calisen is moving into solar and battery solutions in addition to its existing smart metering, EV charging, and capabilities. This will see Plug Me In (PMI) accelerate its position as one of the leading providers of comprehensive clean energy solutions in the UK.
